The BIM coordinator role for the Manchester City Airport Expansion project, required the management of a team of up to 60 people, 35 of whom were working in Revit. The project resourcing was further challenged by very tight time-scales, and continuous changes to
the layouts.
The role further involved the management of all incoming and outgoing models and information to and from the
various consultants, the coordination of incoming models with the architectural files, the management of asset
data, developing solutions to streamline the work-flow of the large teams, and advising the clients, contractors, and
consultants on the BIM requirements for the next stage of work.
