Follow Up

Successful use of BIM does not end with implementation or completion of a project, reviews, constant training, auditing work-flows and models are necessary for continuous to ensure continued success.

STRATEGIC PLANNING guidance:

Business and client needs differ from project to project. In order to provide clients with the best advice on how to implement BIM solutions for their project, it is necessary to define the purpose and scope of the project, as well as how the project will fit into the client portfolio.
By understanding the business and the project plans, we can provide our clients with the right information to define the scope and process of using BIM on their particular project as well as helping outline the Organisations Information Requirements, the Project Execution Plan, and the Employer's Information Requirements (EIR) which will assist the client in appointing the best professional teams for their project.

compliance and regulation AUDITS:

Whether working on a large publicly procured project that falls into the UK government's BIM mandate, or a small private building, clearly identifying and detailing the regulatory guidelines of a project is key to enabling smooth communication and understanding between project teams. This includes the management of governance, policies, contracts, standards, and procedures in simple plain language that avoids ambiguity and confusion.

Governance and Policies are defined by local laws, and will vary from region to region.

Contracts define the scope of work and liabilities for each stakeholder. In order to avoid unnecessary confusion it is important in BIM projects to clarify all aspects from deliverables to copyright as part of the contract negotiation.

Standards and Procedures such as ISO 19650, BS and PAS 1192, or other local standards allow all team members to work from the same play-book.

We work with our clients to oversee and evaluate the BIM process on their projects independent of the stage the project is in.
