BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING
The modelling in "building information modelling", is only a small part of the BIM process, however, at SDezigns we believe that producing accurate building models is an important part of developing accurate and cost effective buildings. The care taken in creating these models further allows for better coordination between consultants, proper building cycle management, and asset information managements post completion.
Computational design and automation in the building industry is something we at feel passionately about. We believe the the current methodologies, which are adequate and have been used for millenni, can be improved. Design through computational dynamics, the automation of both design and delivery, and the integration of these tools in the building industry will provide better, faster and more cost effective solutions in the future.
Building Information Modelling projects require a lot of early stage work in order to achieve the best results. The work done in defining the digital plan of work, the BIM execution plans, and the model progression specification, as well as the Employers information requirements, Level of Information and Level of development, are all services we provide, and should be done at the beginning of a project in order to guarantee the best results.
ARCHITECTURE
The process of designing a building to fit the environment it is located in, to suit the people who will occupy and use it, and to be innovative and reflective of the time it was created in is the driving force behind our design concepts.
We believe that for design to be good, regardless of the type of work involved, it needs to satisfy three requirements, to be innovative, aesthetically pleasing, and functional.
TECHNICAL DRAWINGS
The technological tools at our disposal today allows us to simulate the a considerable number of building functions.
Some of these simulations include energy consumption, rights of light, building views, or simply the aesthetics of a building.
The use of these tools, in a building project greatly enhances the quality of the work, while at the same time cutting down waste, and increasing the construction speed.
The production of technical architectural drawings are necessary for the process of building a structure.
Technical drawings needed in the building process include:

-Building control drawings.
-Cost estimation.
